This Refund Policy sets out when AuLegalDocs (ABN 33 659 785 538) ("AuLegalDocs", "we", "our", or "us") will provide refunds for purchases of our digital legal templates.
Digital Product Nature
Our legal templates are digital products delivered instantly upon purchase. Because of the immediate access provided, all sales are generally final unless the conditions below apply.
14-Day Conditional Refund Policy
We offer refunds within 14 days of purchase under the following circumstances:
- Files not delivered or corrupted – where download files are missing or defective and we cannot promptly remedy the issue.
- Product mismatch – where the product materially differs from its description and we cannot provide a corrected version within a reasonable time.
- Duplicate orders – where the same item was purchased more than once by mistake.
Refunds are not generally available for:
- Change of mind once files are delivered
- Templates that are unsuitable for your specific situation
- Minor formatting or stylistic preferences
- Requests made more than 14 days after purchase
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) are preserved. If a product fails to meet consumer guarantees, you are entitled to a remedy.
Refund Process
To request a refund, please:
- Contact us at contact@aulegaldocs.com within 14 days of purchase.
- Provide your order number and the email address used at checkout.
- Describe the issue and reason for your request.
- Attach any supporting evidence (e.g. screenshots or error messages).
We will review your request within 2–3 business days and notify you of the outcome. If approved, refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Partial Refunds
In limited circumstances, we may offer a partial refund or store credit where only part of a bundle is defective or another reasonable solution is available.
Template Bundle Purchases
Where you have purchased a bundle or pack, refunds will usually apply to the entire bundle, unless only certain templates are defective.
GST and Tax
Refunds will include any GST paid as part of the original purchase. We will provide appropriate tax documentation for accounting purposes.
Dispute Resolution
If you disagree with our refund decision, you may contact us again with further information. If the matter remains unresolved, you may:
- Contact your bank, card issuer, or PayPal to dispute the transaction; or
- Seek assistance from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) or your state consumer protection body.
